Our Funding Promise

The Egmont Trust guarantees that 100% of your donations will go directly to people and organisations in the six countries where we work. Our operating costs are entirely covered by our Trustees and Patrons.

Our Trustees and Patrons' support covers everything from Egmont staff salaries (both in the UK and in Africa), fundraising expenditure and office rent and supplies, to the costs associated with visiting and evaluating our portfolio of partners in Africa. This not only allows all the funds you commit to go directly to serving vulnerable children and families in Africa, it also serves as an important method of accountability. Like shareholders, our Trustees and Patrons ensure that Egmont’s operations remain slim and efficient while maximising the results achieved against our core goals.

Most importantly, it means we can promise that should you choose to invest in Egmont you can do so without worrying about how much of your money will reach those who need it. 100% of your donations will go directly to projects working to improve the lives of children affected by HIV & AIDS.
